GCSE RESULTS 2024

The Chase students have once again given a tremendous performance in securing another outstanding set of GCSE results this summer. A school record 80% of all subject entries secured a grade 4 or higher (compared with a national pass rate of 67.6%) with 20% of entries being awarded the highest grade 8 & 9 grades.

There were some sensational individual performances to highlight with 9 students (5% of the cohort) achieving at least four of the top grade 9’s.

The highest performing student was Zoe Haighton who remarkably achieved a clean sweep of the top grade 9 across all 10 of her GCSE subjects. Her twin sister, Anya Haighton, also did amazingly well, achieving 5 grade 9s. There were other fantastic performances from Anna Helder who achieved 8 grade 9s and Imogen Smith who achieved 7 grade 9s. The other students achieving at least 4 grade 9s were Holly Ben-Dyke, Isaac Gaskell, Alex Neville, Isobel Keepax and Alethia Koo.

We are proud and delighted with all of our students GCSE performance this year’ says Mike Fieldhouse, Headteacher at The Chase. ‘The students have excelled and justly deserve these fantastic grades after working so hard during the past two years. Our teachers have again shown their immense experience and ability in fully preparing the students for these challenging qualifications. Well done to everybody involved’.
