Once again the Chase’s outstanding Sixth Form has produced another impressive set of A Level results this summer.
Over a quarter of all A Level entries resulted in either an A* or A grade with 80% of all entries achieving an A*-C grade.
This year’s top performers were James Rawlings with 3 A* grades together with 1 A grade, and Anastasia Boyer with 2 A* grades and 2 A grades.
Other students who performed tremendously well in achieving 2 A* grades included Alice Kearley, Thea Snee and Arty Wilson-Spence.
Mike Fieldhouse, Headteacher at The Chase is delighted with the performance of this cohort of students, who have surpassed all expectations and who should be very proud of their achievements.
‘We were a bit unsure of what to expect this summer with the continuing adjustments made to the grade boundaries post Covid. Our students have done exceptionally well in achieving these results. A record number of students have secured a place at their first choice university or on a higher level apprenticeship which is always our main aim in gauging success at the end of Year 13. Studying A levels and other Applied Level 3 courses for two years at The Chase Sixth Form helps to provide the students with the skills and confidence to progress to their choice of employment. Our aim is to support all of our students in reaching their potential and facilitating their aspirations for the future’.
